The InterContinental New York Barclay offers 704 rooms and suites with Federalist-style details. Rooms include iPod docking stations, cable TV with DVD players, and marble bathrooms with heated floors. Premium City View Rooms feature corner windows overlooking Park Avenue. Suites start at 460 sq ft, with separate living areas and pantry spaces. The Presidential Suite spans 3,400 sq ft and includes a private fitness room and baby grand piano.

Dining & Drinks

The Parlour serves modern cuisine with ingredients from the hotel's rooftop garden, which houses four beehives producing over 200 lbs of honey annually. The Gin Parlour stocks more than 80 types of gin. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, and fresh fruit. In-room dining is available from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM daily.

the location was acceptable, allowing easy travel throughout the city.
The noise insulation was terrible. I heard conversations from neighboring rooms. one night, a baby cried incessantly, disrupting my sleep. The staff offered no real solution. ralph's dismissive attitude, with comments like 'babies do cry! ', was unprofessional, and a proposed room change at 4 am was impractical.

the room was spacious and clean!!! it was fantastic. the in-room dining service was surprisingly quick and the food was actually good.
the front desk staff on one morning seemed disinterested, with no greeting or thank you at checkout.
